Mainayr CampgroundCAMPING IN THE HEART OF DOWNEAST MAINE Views of Mainayr Campground in the Bold Coast region | |
Mainayr Campground is a small, rustic campground in the town of Steuben, Maine. Enjoy the quiet, natural beauty of our Maine coast. Explore the many fishing villages, mountains, ponds, coves, lakes and ocean inlets that extend from the Blue Hill peninsula to Quoddy Head. Mainayr Campground is located near the beginning of the region of Maine called the "The Bold Coast," with beautiful, scenic coastal and inland hikes, and views of the ocean and our rocky shoreline. | From here, you can explore many points of interest east and west of Mainayr, such as Roque Bluffs State Park, Quoddy State Park, Great Wass Nature Conservancy, Black Mountain, Pigeon Hill, Petit Manan Wildlife Refuge and Schoodic Mountain. Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island is 45 minutes away, and the Schoodic Point section of the park (on the mainland) is only 20 minutes away. We are pet friendly! |
